Sarah Brightman's "Symphony"

I got the new Mrs. Brightman's album called "Symphony" (digitally of course, it hasn't been released here yet), and I simply love it!

I made a sample mix of all the songs that are in it, so you can listen and if you like... BUY IT!!! (enjoy!)

Oh, here is the track list (the one in bold are my favorites):

01. Gothica
02. Fleurs Du Mal
03. Symphony
04. Canto Della Terra (feat. Andrea Bocelli)
05. Sanvean
06. I Will Be With You (Where The Lost Ones Go) (feat. Paul Stanley)
07. Schwere Träume
08. Sarai Qui (feat. Alessandro Safina)
09. Storia d'Amore
10. Let It Rain
11. Attesa
12. Pasión (feat. Fernando Lima)
13. Running

Hidden track: "Gothica/Fleurs Du Mal" (Orchestral Version)

Note: The song "I Will Be With You" is with different singer, the movie version is with Chris Thompson (the guy that sang in "How Can Heaven Love Me"), which in my opinion is WAY better than this one...

Promo Video of Sarah's NEW Album!

So I was browsing through Amazon websites and suddenly... in the page of Sarah Brightman's new album "Symphony" (scheduled to be released on January 29th), I was a Related video to it...

It's a promo video of Sarah's new songs from the album and features her singing in the set of her ¿photo shoot? of the CD! All Gothic and beautiful! When I saw it, I got chills! Can't wait for the album!!!

Here it is... enjoy!

A New Madonna's Unreleased song!

Wooow! Just a few minutes ago, a friend of mine told me that a new Madonna's song leaked in the internet, and she sent it to me...

The song is called "Keep the Trance", it's an Unreleased song from her "Confessions On A Dance Floor" sessions! It's very cool, I like it, very disco-ish...

According to Wikipedia:
"Keep The Trance: A demo of this track co-written by Madonna and Mirwais, and recorded during the album sessions was leaked in January 2008. The version leaked is a short edit of the track. The song was eventually reworked into the Live Earth charity release "Hey You", which has very similar lyrics."

Listen to it!

Goldfrapp's NEW VIDEO!

As I said before, I'll be also posting some major news about my favorite artists, so this is the first:

The NEW Goldfrapp's video is out and it's simply amazing! It's the first single from their forthcoming album "Seventh Tree", called "A&E".

You can see/hear that they changed drastically their musical style since their last 2 albums which were Electro-Glam Pop, but I still like it!

Hope you enjoy it :D

Musical Break

Well, I've finished posting my CD collection that I have so far. Too many aren't they? But from now on, I will post the new Music Items that I'll get (online shopping or local record store), as well as the major news of music updates and releases of my favorite artists!

So stay tuned for more news of my music collection,
and see how it's growing!
-Enjoy the silence... or should I say, the music?-

Soundtrack

Usually, I don't buy Soundtrack CD's unless the movie is one of my favorites ever! There's 3 CD's that I want to buy but I wasn't able to get them yet, but soon I will!

The Lion King (1994)

My first and only soundtrack CD. I remember when the movie was released in theaters, I wanted to watch it madly, and I loved it (also cried hehe). Then I got this album, it's very cool.

P.D.: The Soundtracks that I want to buy are: "The Hours" (normal and the piano version), "Moulin Rouge" (the 2 disc set) and "Da Vinci Code" (Hans Zimmer is one of the most brilliant composers ever!)

1 Album Artists

This one is about those singers that doubtly I think I'll get more than one album of them. Not that I don't like them, in fact, there's many artists here that I like very much, but I'm not that fan to get their other CD's, or simply because I like some songs from THIS album and not the others.
Also, there are those albums that doesn't have more than 1 release.

Rachel Stevens - Come and Get It (2005)

UK release only of this AMAZING album of the former member of "S Club 7". Too bad this album wasn't released worldwide, it's so good! Lots of dance and catchy songs. I got used to the Original advance album track list, and the official release has ALL the songs mixed in different order...

Delerium - The Best Of (2004)

European famous Dark-Electronic Band! I got to know them through a song that a friend of mine sent to me. I got their best of album (I always do that when I discover new artists) and couldn't get their songs out of my head, all of them are so brilliant! I downloaded their discography and their first albums are kinda more dark and slower than the latest ones, but still, amazing!

Shakira - En Vivo y en Privado (2004)

CD+DVD set packaged in a regular CD case, this is the Spanish Edition. The DVD has the full "Tour of the Mongoose" concert filmed in Holland and the CD has some excerpts of the concert. Also, the DVD contains a lot of Bonus features like her documentary during the tour, her ONU activities, etc. When I bought this album, they gave me for free her "Laundry Service" (Spanish version) album, but I sold it later because I needed money.

Beth Orton - Pass In Time: The Definitive Collection (2003)

This is the Limited 2-CD Edition, which contains remixes and alternate versions in the Bonus CD. She's a Folk-Electronica singer, she has many awesome songs mixing her chilled voice with a slow electronica beat. Really good if you want just to sit and relax. She also featured in the soundtrack of the Madonna's movie "The Next Best Thing".

Björk - Greatest Hits (2002)

This wacky singer really RULES! I like her music very much but I'm no fan because I only like her singles, not the whole albums. Too bad that this compilation doesn't include my favorite song of her, "Violently Happy". Ah, the packaging is VERY weird, it's soooo slim :S There's also an alternate cover version in Pink.

Kylie Minogue - Fever (2002)

Who hasn't heard of Kylie? If you haven't, you must be living under a rock! This is the regular 12 Track edition but with an alternate cover.

Singles & Various:
Alenka Gotar - Cvet Z Juga (2007)

Single of the Slovenian singer that participated in the European show "Eurovision (2007)". I've never been a fan of this show, until I heard Alenka's performance when I was in my best friend's house. Her song is so powerful and dramatic, she mixes the Pop with Opera like Sarah Brightman but her voice and style is So Tarja! Alenka should've won :( I'm still waiting for her solo album.

Mariah Carey - It's Like That (2005)

Her first single from her album "The Emancipation of Mimi". I'm not fan of Mariah, although I like several songs of her. She has a very beautiful voice but she's too Diva :S Bought this single in Orlando back in 2005 also.

I Love Celtic Moods (2006)

This Argentinian album covers the most famous Pop songs in Medieval/Celtic music, played by Paul Brooks. It contains a lot of flouts. Ah, it's an instrumental album!

I Love France (2006)

From the same company of the album above. Gave this CD to my mom as her birthday present. She loves Old French Music, so I knew this one was made for her. I also liked it, so I kept it with me :P

Forgotten Dance Music (One Hit Wonder)

This post is about those bands that had those 1 time hits (which were very very popular) but never got to establish as a long-time career band, only had like 2 albums and puff... dead.

A.T.C. - Planet Pop (2001)

Famous song: "Around the World". Does anyone remember them? It was player over the radio again and again, and the video of the song kept on being played in the TV. Also, they released another famous song called "My Heart Beats Like a Drum".

Vengaboys - The Platinum Album (2001)

Famous song: "Kiss (When The Sun Don't Shine)". A failed attempt to get back on the Mainstream scene. After their BIG success with the first album, they released this one but didn't go that well in the charts.

Vengaboys - The Party Album! (1999)

Famous song: "We Like to Party". Ahhhhh how can anyone forget that song, I bet you sing it or ask someone today about it and everyone will remember it and they even WILL KNOW THE LYRICS! That song was a total ICON in the society. Then, they released the "Boom Boom Boom Boom" song, which also got very famous.

Aqua - Aquarium (1997)

Famous song: "Barbie Girl". The Legendry Aqua! Young adults that don't have this CD in their houses, simply DIDN'T LIVE their youth in School! One of the famous 1-hit bands of all time! There are several good songs in this album. They also released a second album in 2000 (looking forward to get it too) which was a hit also, but they split due to artistic differences and well... the end.

Singles:
Kevin Lyttle - Turn Me On (2004)

This song was a hit in the Mainstream U.S. Chart, I don't remember where I heard it first time, but I liked it very much, specially the extended mix that featured a girl. I bought this Single in Orlando back in 2005, I was kinda disappointed but blah...

Vengaboys - Boom Boom Boom Boom (1999)

In the cover it says "the XXL version", but I suppose it's because this single has a lot of remixes of that song. Don't know WHY really I got this single...

Girls Aloud

The famous British girl band that has been hitting the music business very hard since 2000. I was introduced to them by a Canadian friend of mine, and after a few listenings, with their catchy songs, I began to like them very much. People say that they are the new Spice Girls but I doubt it.
Others, say that they are the UK version of "The Pussycat Dolls" which I DO NOT AGREE! Pussycat Dolls SUCK!!!!!!!!

The Sound of Girls Aloud: The Greatest Hits (2006)

15-Track Import Edition. First, I wanted to get the Limited 2-CD Edition but it's so hard to find it now :( Instead, I ended buying the regular edition.

Tarja Turunen

She is the former vocalist of "Nightwish". Since I'm a big fan of them, I also fell in love with Tarja's powerful and dark operatic voice! She's brilliant, she was the Heart of Nightwish, but well... Life's gotta move on! I have to get her new solo album as soon as possible!

Henkäys Ikuisuudesta (2006)

A Christmas CD that includes some famous folk songs for this season plus some brand new songs. This doesn't count as her first "solo" album since it's just a X-mas project.

Depeche Mode

Got to know them with their "Dream On" video and liked very much their music style. After trying several times to get their Best Of CD, finally I got it. I saw that compilation here and it's so damn expensive!

The Best Of, Volume 1 (2006)

CD+DVD Edition. The cover is also different than the regular "Best Of" edition (blue cover), the only thing that changes is the color.

'Nsync + JC Chasez

Never been into these boy band stuff, although they were cool. I like JC's solo album, it's very very great! So much better than the stupid fuckin' Justin (I hate him a lot). New JC's album will be released later this year!

Schizophrenic (2004)

First JC's solo album. With 2 Bonus Tracks: "Blowing Me Up" & "Some Girls (feat. McDirt)"

Greatest Hits (2005)

Their hits plus some new songs. Includes a Bonus DVD with their videos.

Gwen Stefani + No Doubt

No Doubt rocks, it's such a shame that I didn't go to the concert here :'( But well... other day. After Gwen went solo, she changed drastically her style but I liked it.

Love Angel Music Baby (2004)

Gwen's first solo album.

Rock Steady (2001)

Return of Saturn (2000)

Celine Dion

I suppose most of you got to know Celine for her song from "Titanic", so did I! I know most of people hate or dislike her for unknown rare reasons, but I Love her! Her silky smooth and versatile voice is so charming! I'm not a die-hard fan but I enjoy very much listening to her.

A New Day Has Come (2002)

Bought recently for a cheap price.

All the Way... A Decade of Song (1999)

Latin American edition, includes a Spanish version of the song "All By Myself" called "Sola Otra Vez" and misses the song "Love Can Move Mountains" and "If You Asked Me To". Half of the disc are her greatest hits, and the other half are brand new songs which among them is the lead single "That's the Way It Is".

Pink

I fell in love with Pink when she released her first album with the single "You Make Me Sick". God, that was an incredible song (and video too). Then, from her second album to now, I was surprised with her music-style change :s Went to pop (with Missundaztood) to some weird punk/pop/rock style. But anyways, I still like her very much! She ain't no other dumb young girl in the Music Biz, her songs are powerful and the lyrics are so great!

I'm Not Dead (2006)

International edition with one Bonus Track: "Fingers".

Try This (2003)

Bought for 1$ haha.

Missundaztood (2002)

International edition that has one Bonus Track: "Catch 22".

Can't Take Me Home (2000)

Dido

I always loved Dido's music, her sweet voice and her mellow songs... no words to describe it! She will release her 3rd album finally this year!

Life for Rent (2003)

No Angel (2001)

Limited UK Edition which includes a Bonus CD with remixes. Different cover also.

Evanescence

I got into Evanescence with their first single "Bring Me To Life", Amy Lee's voice is so angelic! They rock! But then, with the second album they began to go down... Later, I discovered Nightwish! and well... I think you KNOW whom I chose! :P

The Open Door (2007)

The artwork is simply beautiful!

Fallen (2003)

Paris Hilton

No comments... That's Hot!
(Too bad it didn't sell well, the next single was supposed to be
"I Want You" my fav song)

Paris (2006)

Special edition with Bonus DVD (includes the making of the album)

Singles:
Nothing In This World

7-Track Maxi Single.

Stars Are Blind

6-Track Maxi Single.

Jazz and...

This is a collection of various jazz singers covering the famous 80's and 90's songs in their own unique style! I love this collection! The first time I heard about it was in a Record store when I heard the Jazz version of Madonna's "Like a Virgin" and I found it very impressive, then I listened to the whole CD and it's really worth it, I recommend it to everyone if you wanna spend a calmed evening in your house with candles :P

Jazz and '80s, Volume 2 (2007)

Includes covers of Michale Jackson, U2, Madonna, A-Ha, Cindy Lauper...

Jazz and '90s (2006)
